Ella's Mom.......That is so cool!    I was talking to someone at the library today and told them that I was afraid that Trey would be sent to Japan.    I just got off the phone with him and that is the very thing we talked about.   His rate is DC and it is a small group.   He said that he talked to 3 other DCs today and they all just got orders to be stationed in Japan for the next 2 years.    He'll probably have his orders in the next month.   If he is stationed in Japan, then he'll be able to come home for 3 weeks (the first week, he'll work in the recruiters office).   I guess it is time to prepare my passport!!!

Wow!!  Japan?!?!!?!  That is nice!  Is she going to be on a ship?

No A school?  What is her rate?

Tammyn, hi. I only have one son too. He joined last year in feb. get ready for the emotional ride, especially thru boot camp. You willard it but the no communication is hard. Hand in there. Ps- if you can go to PIR. What an event . Write a lot and just remember it is only 8 weeks. Good luck. What rate did your son sign up for ?

I agree with Sancy. Please make every effort to attend graduation - it is such an impressive experience. It is one way you can celebrate the culimination of your son's hard work and accomplishment. Write lots of letters full of encouragement!

Hi there Tammyn.  Congratulations on your sons choice.  It sounds like you raised a fine young man!  This is an exciting journey for him.  Our job now is to be encouraging and proud.  You won't have much contact with him at bootcamp.  But don't worry about him.  He is making friends that he will have the rest of his life.  While there are some things that are hard, the good out weighs the bad.  Be sure and plan to go to graduation.  It is an amazing experience. Stay on N4M's and we will help you through it all, just remember...  he is going to be fine.  Be strong. God Bless our Sailors and God Bless Texas!
