OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

MommasHeart, if he's going to HM corpsman school it is in SanAntonio.  That is where my daughter will be also.  What is his PIR date, hers is 7/6

My SR thought he was going to San Diego for A School. But I just heard that it is no longer there for that and it is at San Antonio Tx. Does anyone know if this is true. He is going as Dental Tech

We started a FB pg ship 02 div 930. Most of us are staying at navy lodge. And attending Flanagan meet and greet. Just search ship 02 div 930 and we will gladly add you! Its a fun group we laugh, talk, share info, and try to come up with ways to infuse a little fun into our kids boot camp experience! Hope to see you there!

Donna, I find it funny that you still have your son's ship and division number in your name.  He has been out of boot camp for a few years now!  I still remember mine -Ship 12 Division 091
