FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

another mom on fb page said her daughter had stress fractures in her feet and will do 6-8 weeks of physical therapy in GL and then will graduate with another class when she is able

Angie they will give him a little time to healit will set him back if he still.complains about the pain (they are painful) they will send him home and tell him to wait 6 months to try again , but they really will never take him back hope he works through it good luck

has anyone ever have a SR call and say they have a stress fracture in their foot - Mine called a couple of hours ago and starts physical therapy tomorrow - just don't know what happens now.

Our son called today!  finally back in San Diego!  Has leave to come home this Friday!  Planning a family reunion this week-end!  Busy, busy week!  Happy mom!  :)

Jangs, my son also is a MA finishing up his fifth year with the US Navy.

Donna, congrats on the soon homecoming!  I hate those long months when I don't get to hear his voice - going on my third month now for this deployment.

My son just left 2/16 i just received his letter today and he even was able to write a short message the most important part of course was I love you mom! PIR is 4/13 ship12 div 122. Chris will be a MA and coming back home to San Antonio,for a little while at least!
