I heard "Anchors Aweigh" for the first time in 7 months on my phone. SF's face then his voice. He sounded wonderful. I will get to see him soon. I can't wait.

Happy Monday Texas Ladies :-)

Sorry I ahve been gone so long. We had some issues at work and it has been a grueling last two weeks.

On a happier note, all is well on the homefront. Valentine's Day was nice and even heard from my sailor. We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary on the 17th...dinner and dancing was fun :-) We have been busy doing some home repairs and spring cleaning.

Ryan is prepping of the March advancement exams. Finger crossed all goes well for him!

Still concerned with all the DOD budget cuts and the ERB decisions coming down. Continuned prayers for all our loved ones!

I have a USN scentsy and I LOVE IT!

Hope everyone has a great day....a heck how about the week!?!.

They have a awesome Navy warmer and it is a great way to support your sailor!!!!!!
If you are interested in buying scentsy products this is a great time. We are currently having a 10% off sale .
Safety: Scentsy products are the safest candles warmers available. Scentsy wamers use a 15-25 watt light bulb to warm the wax to just above body temperature, which eliminates the black soot affect associated with traditional candles. Since the wax is only warmed, not burned, we are preventing the possibility of fire making our warmers safe around kids and pets.
Value: Scentsy Bars last approximately 50 – 80 hours, but cost only $5 each, 3 for $14, or 6 for $25, &Scentsy Bricks are equivalent to 6 bars, but cost only $20 each, making Scentsy Products more economical than traditional wick candles! Scentsy also has a 30 day money back guarantee when you buy authentic Scentsy products from a Scentsy consultant.
Fun: Scentsy offers over 45 different styles of warmers and over 80 different scentsational scents available in wax bars, room sprays, hanging fresheners and travel tins. With Scentsy, you can quickly and easily change scents as often as you like, no more getting tired of the same old candle!
If you are interested in buying, becoming a scentsy consultant or just need a great fundraiser please let me know.
You can go to the website or call me.
Thanks

We also flew into Milwaukee and it was much easier. Fares and car rental was more economical too?

Donna, I wouldn't ever say specifically.  You might say something like "in the spring".  Don't ever give exact dates - even if you see it in the news.  At least, that is what I've been told.

I just watched a documentary on the Roman occupation of ancient Egypt.  A  2000 year old letter fragment was found in Egypt.  It was a letter from a Roman mother:  "What are you doing?  Why haven't you written your dear mother?"  I thought this was the sweetest thing.  Much changes through the ages, but we mothers don't.

When is it ok to say when the sailors will return?
Comment by pam bailey on February 22, 2012 at 10:03pm
Mama beans....southwest was the cheapest we found. We flew into midway, rented a car a drove to Gurnee where we stayed. Which is 6 miles from the base. We stayed at the La Quinta which was surrounded by restaurants and down the street from the mall. My son graduated in Sept and is now on deployment. Good luck, get there earlier( like 7:00 am) and bring a sweater. It's cold in there
