Deanna - NONE!!!!  It is nice and cheap and only about 2 miles from the base.  Good for AFTER PIR - but I suggest staying somewhere that you can take a shuttle to and from PIR - MIUCH faster!!!!  It is usually about $5 per person - and it is a mini-van that they fill to the max.  But. . .  they know back roads and get you there a WHOLE lot faster.  After PIR - vans are lined up to take people to and from any hotel in the area.  Just get on one - pay $5 per person - go to hotel and get in car and go!  Fast and easy!!!  Saves MUCH waiting in lines!!

Navy Lodge is small - free coffee all the time is about all they have.  I went in Feb. - don't remember any pool.

Thanks Rhonda, we're staying at the Navy Lodge.  I'll check with them. Thank you again. We still have a few days maybe the plates will come in before then but I've got our permit printed already!

Ihgirl72 Make sue you have your bill of sale & insurance & you should be ok. If your going to PIR check with your hotel most of them offer a shuttel service so you wont have a problem.

Hello, I have a little concern regarding getting on base with our vehicle.  It is a recently purchased vehicle and we still have not received our hard license plates for it.  I've called the Public Affairs office and they were not much help.  Is my vehicle having temporay plates going to be an issue?  Can someone answer my question?
