Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

YEA!!! PNM so glad you got your letters today. 1windhaven is correct they are tuff on them but they also take care of them. My so was having a very hard time adjusting so his CO let him call me before they were supposed to. It was only a 5min call but I sure was happy & it helped my son too. They do know how to take care of our kids for sure.

ProudNavyMom Ship 09 Div 015: Yeah so happy that you finally got your letters I know your heart is so full right now. You will read them over and over. But at least you have some peace now knowing he's OK.

Glad eveeryone had fun in SA we are drowning in snow up here UGH to early for snow.

1windhaven (Ship 9/Div 132 - HM: LoL I have the game on too..... UGG St. Louis just scored its 7-5 now.

Glad those of you that could go to dinner had a rest time. Everyone had a safe trip home. Rangers 7 to 4 for those of you who are baseball fans. Bottom of the 8th with 2 outs. Go Rangers, go Navy!!

Thanks Lt Tom. How will we get access to the photos? I had a great time, enjoyed Command MC's company very much and also enjoyed everyone I had spent time with. So glad I went.

 

Proudnavymom... know how you feel getting your letters. So glad for you. I still have all my sailors letters and all the ones written to him.

All the Sailors at tonight's dinner had a great time and would like to thank the Texas Moms for setting this up tonight.  I will get a link to the photos as soon as my MC posts them to Flickr.
