I think Canton sounds great!  Brenda72,  the pie place is a place to eat lunch built up on stilts in the middle of the older pavilions. But I always share a lunch so I won't have to share pie!  They usually run out of pie early!

We have our windows open, but in Garland, we don't have smoke to contend with!  My prayers are with all those who lost homes.  We have just had plumbing problems for the past 4 months and I have been depressed!

Here I am after more than a month of 100 degree plus temps with my windows opened. I am so thankful for the cooler temps. This is my kind of weather.

Raykesmom My son is in boot camp injured right now but is doing better and we are hoping that he graduates by the end of Sept. I work in Georgetown.

Raykesmom, My son has been in almost 7 years!  I still worry, but not like I did while he was in boot camp!  I guess not hearing much from him and knowing part of what he was going through---and wanting him to be successful so badly, all I could do was pray and hope for the best!  They didn't have Navymoms then!

Brenda72, do you ever go to that pie place at Canton?  I always have to have a piece of pie there even if I don't get any shopping done!  :)  This shows why I keep gaining weight!
