For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Had a great time at the meet-n-greet yesterday, must have another one before too long!
My3Sons - I have a rather important question for you - what was it you said that you had on your well pump that automatically turned it off so it wouldn't burn up? We have NO WATER now....apparently the sprinkler system was on automatic and ran all the stations last night. So I think either the pump burned up, or the well is now dry :(

I will be so glad when Irean is over!! This worring about my sailor(& all the others in Norfolk) is for the birds!! 1st its an earthquake then a hurrican & now tornados!! Enough is Enough. Mother Nature needs to get her panties out of a wad so I can quit worring about my son & nephew who are both stationed there along with all the rest of our military.
Sorry ladies just needed to vent !!!.
I hope everyone is doing well Please keep our Norfolk Sailors in your prayers they still have alot of work ahead of them even after Irean pass's.....

Welcome to all the new moms!!! It will get easier I know you keep hearing this but it will. Then after BC you have a whole new set of worries that you wil also make it thur. My son has been in for a littel over a year now & He has grown so much its hard to believe. We made it thur his 1st deployment his 1st earthquake & now getting prepaird for his 1st hurrican... lots of 1st but thats why he join the Navy LOL
Madeline Were from Balch Sprins/Mesquite so we are neighbors!!!
