Voneica... Blessings to you and your children! Please go to your husband's PIR. When you married him, you became his family!  The bible tells us that a man shall leave his Father and Mother and cleave unto his wife, right? Make sure he knows that you will ALWAYS AND IN ALL WAYS be there for him! Don't attach any negativity to his parents, or sister not going. If they want to be there, they will be. Don't invite trouble. If your husband wants them there, he will write to them and ask them and will get the answer from them directly. Enjoy your time with him! Give him a TEXAS MOM GROUP HUG from all of us!

Vonecia~Please take Eaglemom's advise.  I will also add that when writing during boot camp to keep your letters on a positive note.  Don't add to his stress.

I know I wish I could be at my son's PIR this Friday but can't due to not having the money to go.....He Pir Friday and then flies out on Sat....lot of money to spend for one day and 15 hours to drive one way...not to mention having to drop 1,000 in legal fees for his father taking me to court for his back child support he owes....sorry had to vent to somebody...lol.....that's ok because I am going to FL to see him hopefully in his A school!

Hi ladies I need some advice. although I am umemployed stay at home mom I will make it to my husbands graduation by any means needed with our 2 kids and we're driving. but his parents and sister say that they will not go because they have to "work" even though they call in every week atleast once or twice because they are "sick" catch my drift? they say the trip is long and that he will be ok without them and that they've been to every major accomplishment in his life and they dont have to be there, which is the biggest piece of crap I've ever heard because I know he really wants to see them. should I write and tell him that they cant come or dont say anything and let him see at PIR? I KNOW HE WILL BE HURT EITHER WAY
