Kathy, if this is your "I'm a Sailor" call -  I know of one mom who never got the call!  She went to PIR anyway (already had the tickets).  She did not see her son during the ceremony.  We later (yes, I went to her son's PIR also) - that he had to do battlestations again.  They knew he would not be able to make it standing through the ceremony - so he got to sit in the bleachers and watch it.

Kathy, is your daughter going to San Antonio for MA or corpsman?  I know there is a MA San Antonio group - I am not sure about corpsman since they just started going to SA for A school.  You could find those groups and ask there.  So much has changed since my son finished A school.

Hi ladies,

The baby is doing good. He weighs about 4lbs 8 oz as of 2 days ago and thats good because his birth weight was 3 lbs 12oz and he is breathing on his own with no help only thing left in order to come home is that he must start bottle feeding on a regular basis. Im going to see him today. I miss both him and my husband(SR). Thanks for asking guys,  I just wish it would cool off outside.
