OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Prayers for the families who are at Dover today....

Prayers for all our military service men and women!

May the Good Lord protect you forever and forever, Amen.....

Psalm 91:4, He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Borrowed from a Mom in another group:

‎31 lost, 31 unwanted visits, 31 doors receive that dreaded knock, 31 families with shattered hearts, 31 pairs of boots lined up with rifles and dog tags and helmets, 31 comrades remembered and grieved for, 31 funeral services, 31 names on newly made grave markers, 31 empty places at the table, 31 souls who gave all, whose lives leave a void, 31 gone forever...

Hope everyone is having a great day!! I only have 3 days left to visit with my son before he has to return to his ship. 2 weeks is not long enough after a deployment!!! Course thats a moms point of view not the Navys LOL
