DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

RE: OPSEC. from one of my other moms and have to pass it on

Sam I am.

Do you like OPSEC and ham?

I do not get it, Sam I am.

I do not get OPSEC and ham.

We must use it here and there.

We must use it everywhere.

You CAN share it in a car.

But you CANNOT in a bar.

You CANNOT share it in a text.

You CANNOT share it at the NEX.

You CAN say it in your house.

But should NOT tell a random spouse.

You CAN say it in the shower.

But do NOT go sharing at happy hour.

DON’T make the Ombudsman sweat.

DON’T post it on the internet.

You CANNOT share it in a tweet.

That would not be very sweet.

Beware of Facebook and Myspace too.

It’s tempting to let your feelings through.

You Cannot tell it to a friend.

NOT even at the very end.

It is a privilege to know a date.

DON’T tell ANYONE or they may be late!

Oh, I get it, Sam I am.

Now I get OPSEC and ham!

I will not tell anyone. I will keep hushed until they’re done!

I will not tell him or her. I will not tell my dog with fur.

I will not tell my child’s teacher. I will not tell any creature.

Thank you, THANK YOU, Sam I am.

Congratulations dtarmy06!  That call is such a relief because you know that they have the hardest part behind them and when they get to A school it is such a change from BC.  They can call anytime and you can go visit them.  Are you going to PIR?

y'all should all come to the coast - we are only in the 90's!

Carolyn, yes I read it - but have not had time to respond!  I will now!

Hi Lady's it's been anothe hot day here in the Hill Country.  Tried to stay cool, stayed in and baked goodies to send to my Sailor at GL.  Wonder how long a sour cream pound cake and 3 dozen chocolate chip cookies will last?lol

EagleMom, can't commit yet - will let you know asap tho.

Kimmie - oh, that is just too funny! Got married (now divorced) August 7th, in Ft. Worth...

kim4son, know how you feel, I have 3, and my middle one joined fresh out of high school. Guess maybe the oldest had already help me learn that I was in no way in control, but...Kimberly is right, he will be so proud (and rightfully so - he'll have earned it!) of himself, and you can definitely be proud of him. Even just making it thru BC is quite an accomplishment - I don't think I could do it!! :)

I think 3. They have a baby. Now they are getting married-- who thought it was a good idea to have a wedding in Texas in Aug?
