FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son is a Shellback, finally after being in the Navy for almost 5 years!!! Now that ship needs to hit full speed for the states.

Txtwins - 2 at a time, wow! Remember to take it one day at a time. As soon as you find out their PIR date/s join that group and will help you along the way to communicate with others. Of course our TEXAS group is always here to help anyway we can :-) Tell them good luck and God Bless!

Brenda Sue... I don't know if I am the Donna you are referring to but , everything hinges on the court outcome tomorrow.

 

All you praying Tx. moms please pray for the outcome of a court proceeding to determine the custody of my 2 yr. old grandson. I am praying for custody of him as neither of his young parents are able at this point to take care of him. Too long a story for here but please pray, pray, pray.

Your house is going to get REAL quiet REAL fast!!!  Also, your grocery bill will cut in half!!!  I hope they get in the same division - or at least same PIR week.  Your recruiter couldn't ship them on the same day?  Even if they shipped on the same day - they could PIR on different weeks! 

Start saving now - you don't want to miss that ceremony!!

TxTwins!!  whew - two at a time?  I guess you are kinda used to it!  We'll be here for you!  What day they leave?

The twins leave in July for BC. Both will be OS. They r really exited. One hope to play with football team, the other with the band. I am a very PROUD NAVY MOM!!!!!

Like I said on the empty nesters website. This makes me angry. LET ME AT EM------ oh ok I'll behave for now but it does make me feel frustrated
