Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

So Sorry this is happening! It happened a LOT when N4M's first started. I can block her from the group - but I couldn't find her. If anyone can help me find her, I'll block her from Texas' Moms!
Again sorry, but I didn't get the email.
Please be on the lookout. A spammers is using "Navy For Moms - Texas Group" link and are sending "SPAM" mail. I have received three emails since yesterday afternoon regarding free satellite and free best buy gift cards. Just delete them, don't click on them or you could be compromised.

7 days until we are in Pensacola and we get to see the sailor boy! Can't wait. I think he is more excited to see his TRUCK than us.....:)
Alysia - I wondered about your float trip - we have done that during some pretty dry times and it is a lot of walking and not much floating - but still a great time!
Great news Matt's mom. Enjoy him as long as you can. I have 31 more days before my son is home (back in Norfolk) from his 1st deployment. And yes I have my plane ticket already!! I will be on that peir with open arms!!
