Hi Jules, hang in there. They only get to write on Sundays at first and they have to train someone in there Div to do the mail b4 they can send them or receive them , that is why it takes 2-3 weeks. We got our letters on Thursdays here in Katy so look for them around then. Some write more then others but they all love to get mail so keep writing and remember in bootcamp, no news is good news. If something is wrong they will call. If you haven't joined your PIR group be sure to do that so u can connect with others in ur SR's ship/div. : )

Jules, write him a letter every day!  Include pictures (I printed them on the letter), comics, sports articles  - just things he might like.  Don't make the envelopes too big to bring attention to him, though.

Jules,
My son graduated a week ago today. It was about
A week to 10 days before we got our first letter. It will
Depend on when he gets a chance to write. Just hang tough
and be sure when you write its up beat and positive.

Hi ladies,

During Basic training, how soon do they begin to write home. We got the letter form on Sat. with grad date. I sent out my first letter on Monday. I missing him more now than in the begining. I suffer from anxiety and panic disorder and I feel like it is kicking into overdrive. Please someone help me.
