OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

It's across the street from the Old Red Courthouse!  Make sure you don't take any pocketknives... my husband forgot that he had his with him, and they took it away. They were really nice and gave it back when we left, normally they don't.

I typed in MEPS Dallas, Texas.  I would call first and make sure that was the correct place.

Can anyone on here tell me the address of the building where they will swear in at in Dallas? My son has asked his recruiter for it 3 times and still don't have it. I need it to mapquest it so I can find my way there next week. I am one of those drivers that you can't say "You can't miss it" to because I will! :)

NO!!!!!!!!  Eaglemom, I rely on your words of wisdom quite often!  You HAVE to accept my deepest apologies!

I may even come up there to apologize in person!  My great uncle is having a birthday party in Euless and I might just go - so that I can meet a bunch of you!  What is everyone doing on Saturday, Feb. 26?
