Eagle I will do just that!!! Thank you.  I am proud of what my husband did for the Army as well as what he does now, my folks (well mostly my mom) is embarrassed to say her son-in-law is a truck driver.  You are right they keep America going!  It a tough and thank less job, except for people like you.

I hope everyone has a SAFE day.

Snow here too.

Thanks, ladies.

Matt's mom... right now Sam is on hold until he gets his orders. He was told this could take about a month. Then he will have ops training in SD, then to his duty station, from there to the fleet.

Congratulations Sam!  Donna I will be praying nothing gets in the way of your trip.  Does he know what is next for him?  Will he stay in SD or go to another duty station?

Sam graduated A-school today. Didn't make it to that but can't wait to see him next Thursday. My father-in-law is in the hospital with complications to last stage cancer. My dad's death in Dec. put a monkey wrench in Sam's leave at Christmas... I hope nothing hampers this visit.

Pple be safe on the roads. Gonna get nasty out there over the next 48 hours. If it actually snows...have fun!

bn4 I feel your pain!

My husband is on his way to Colorado, so ice/sleet/snow in Texas, then moving into Colorado, nicely packed snow, and he has to go over the mountains, so not to happy about that.  He said he will probably have to chain up 4 times and that is if he can go the way he wants

Eagle, my husband had to stop driving for 4 hours yesterday in order to let some of the accidents up in DFW clear, and for road conditions to improve.

Problem with truck drivers sitting is food and supplies don't make it on time, and sometimes their can be fees for the company that don't make it there on time.

My husband loves to be on the move.  He is retired CW3 for the Army and flew Blackhawks, and now he is driving a truck, only thing that would make him happier is if he could have followed totally in his grandfathers footsteps and been a "train driver" LOL.  If he did that then the only thing he wouldn't have ever flow was a space ship!
