But a lot of people unfortunatly don't know that there are sailors serving in Iraq as well. But, I do agree with you that they do lump them under either soliders, our troops, but they are all meaning our men and women in the military! As of right now we have 14,000 sailors fighting this war. We just heard here in Everett Washington the Chief of Naval Operations Rear Admiral Roughneck speak, and that is the number he quoted to us.

WOW - Laura, you are here on earth for a purpose!!! God was not finished with you yet!!

Derek, my sailor, had to get the small pox vaccine when he went to Kuwait. He now has the big scar on his shoulder like some of us do.

Well just looking at their website and seeing what they are like, I don't think they are a type of establishment that takes reservations. Yes a lot of places likes a heads up that a large group is coming, but I still don't see the disrespect here, but I wasn't the one on the phone. What I see was a place saying that a lot of sporting fans would be in their place, might not have been the best way to handle that and they need to rethinking their managment. If it were me, I'd still go! Its a place of buisness and in this economic time, they need our money!

Is this a known establishment that usually takes reservations?

Forgive me for being just a little perplexed here on the whole Buzzards reservation thing. But how did you all go from an establishment utilizing its room for an event for sports, to them disrepecting and refusing to allow you all to come there because you are associated with the military?!? I'm just curious!

Moms
I am so sorry this is happing but as we go on with the Navy life you will find out that some people in America really do not support the Navy or other branches of the Military so I understand why we are having this problem.

I just wish this does not happen again somewhere else in the USA.
and I am so sorry I will not be able to attend the Waco get together

we had a wonderful time in Keller last month.
I hope it goes well in Waco there or in another place in Waco

Well any way have a wonderful time.
