Well everybody, I am in a winter wonderland today! We have over 7 inches of snow on the ground, I'll share a few photos with you all.

Well at least there is a Super Walmart, what else can you ask for! :D I live out here in a small town up in the mountains. I also was born and raised in a small town, so I'm cool with it. I just can't wait to get some sunshine. July can't get here fast enough.
Ladies go check out my snow pictures. It just started snowing again here. We are suppose to get about 9 inches of snow today :D

On Friday, as I drove to Conroe to get my parents for the drive to Ft. Worth and on to Hinton (west of OK City, OK), there were at least 25 or so cars on either side of the roads in the ditches by EVERY bridge. This was along I-59, from Lufkin all the way to Shepherd. I heard Cleveland bridge was impassible, so I diverted from Shepherd to Coldspring, then on to Willis. I was going so slow over the bridges, people were passing me up. But you don't want to get in the left lane on the bridges for passing because that lane wasn't melted as much as the right lane. So many police cars and wreckers!

LOL, well thats what I am looking forward to! My husband is a Navy brat and he spent the longest time in Beeville, TX. That's where he graduated high school from! So he is excited to show us some of the places he went camping and what not!

Hi everyone, I am Navy wife stationed here in the Pacific Northwest and we have just received orders to Kingsville Texas. I so need any advice, information and areas to live! My husband has been in for 17 years and I too served in the Navy!
We have three wonderful children, two girls ages 13 and 11 and our son who is 7. We are so looking forward to this move, sense this is our second shore duty sense 1998 :D

Hi All!! Tonight I was filling out my Christmas cards (if I don't have your address, you don't get one)!! I had the BRILLIANT idea of putting a note in each one asking my friends and relatives (non-N4M's ones) to light a blue candle on Christmas for our military!!

I am blessed to have my son home for the holidays. I will be lighting a blue candle in Whitewright.

I am new to N4M's. My sailor is in Japan. His wife and son are still here in Texas. This is his first Christmas away from everyone. We live in League City...we got snow too. LOL My sailor called the other day on his birthday...23rd, and he just sounded so depressed. He said he's down because he feels so alone. I feel so bad for him. His wife and son will be going over sometime in January, but that doesn't make him feel any better. It really is heart breaking when your child is hurting and there's nothing you can do for them. Anyway, thanks for listening.

Also lighting a blue candle for Christmas is a wonderful idea. We will be participating. I will also let other family, and his wife know.
