OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Harpist mom, definitely a small world. SummerRainbow just hang in there. It gets easier in the next few weeks. Send him lots of letters with encouragement. It helps them as much as us. Was he in the JROTC at Joshua?

Summer, I go to the FFA truck raffle in Joshua almost every year with my dad.

Are you planning to attend PIR? My son's PIR was two years ago and it was an unforgettable experience. I hope you are able to go.

My kids have graduated from Joshua, and my son is currently in BC.  He just left the 17th.  I received his form letter today!
