There is a facebook group that is called Navy for moms houston area, they just did a painting w/a twist this past weekend, which looked like fun but my daughter was sneaky and came home a week early from A school and surprised us, Hooyah!  Now there is a group that meets in the Humble area called Blue Star Moms, I haven't been able to meet with them yet. They meet once a month and they get together to do things for all branches. Would be nice to have a Navy mom get together like the NDMoms, I am in the Spring/Woodlands area so if we have enough moms in the area willing there are plenty of places we could meet around the north Houston area.I am a new mom to all this.

Dsmom-thank you. I'm just getting familiar with the website. Tracysmom commented that she is looking for Aaron's mom from Texas. Last name starts with R, so I'm a little anxious to hear back from her.

Hi All! I'm from League City. My boy doesn't leave for boot camp until August 29th, but I've already begun checking out this site. I don't get much information from him, so I imagine I'll have to rely on y'all for instructions on the whats and whens. He's chosen CTN and will go to A school in Pensacola, so if you have any scoop about this, bring it on. I.KNOW.NOTHING.  Thanks! -lyz
