FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ruth.. I will definately send up prayers.... Iknow they work... It is so hard on our young adults.. but also hard onus Moms soI will say a prayer for you also.. That youcan continue to be the light of hope for your son....It worked for my daughter who was in a similar situation....

This is minor in the scheme of things, but my son has yet again met a young woman that we thought could be "the one."  She ended it because she didn't think she could stand the long distance/separations necessary to be a Navy wife.  He's 28, was married once that ended in divorce for that reason--she decided after a year she didn't want to be a Navy wife.  Not married in the church, and he says next time will be for keeps with a priest there.  Please pray to St. Joseph or whoever you have a direct line to :-) to send him someone.  He's patient and has decided to enroll in college so he's busy and not looking again, but he's also lonely for a soulmate.

Thank you Mom's for all your safe travel prayers for my daughter and family. They are on the West Coast in AZ now, visiting son-in-law's family, on to OR. I truly appreciate all of you and will bepraying for all of your concerns when posted!

Thank you mom for your prayers for my daughter and family.. They have gotten held up in TN with car trouble.. That should be fixed tomorrow and hopefully they can continue westward with no more trouble. I will also be praying for the Boxer sailor and his/her family and the crew of the Boxer as well. My daughter was on the Kearsarge so Anphip. assult ships are close to my heart.

Hi Mom's my daughter & husband & their 20 month old are all vets now and moving back home. They are leaving from NC and heading for OR so a long journey. I am asking you all to send up prayers for a safe trip for them. I will keep you poted on thir progress. It never hurts to have a lot of Moms praying for something. I will return the favor! Thank you so much!
