Thank you Bryters!  On a great note --- Suzanne saw the Dr. and has been cleared for most normal activity.  She can finally pick up her 20 month old daughter!  The only restriction is no physical contact sports - that won't happen anyway!  Her belly will be swollen for maybe another 3 months or so, but it's healing fine.  The excess blood from her spleen has to absorb into her body - so the reason for the swelling.  She's doing great!  Thanks for the prayers on her behalf.  Please continue to pray for Sarah.  I'm asking God to move in her life in all areas.  I'm praying she'll see her situation for what it is.  Thanks!

Great news about Suzanne, I'm sure Sarah will be the beacon of light that will shine upon this friend of hers, and you will find the strength needed to get you through this stressful time.

Psalm 124 (125)
The Lord guards his people
The Lord surrounds his people.
Those who trust in the Lord are like the mountain of Zion:
  it cannot be shaken, it will stand firm for ever.
Jerusalem – the mountains stand guard over it,
  and the Lord stands guard over his people,
  both now and for ever.
The sceptre of the wicked shall not rest
  upon the inheritance of the just;
lest the just themselves stretch out their hands
  and turn to wickedness.
Be good, O Lord, to the good
  and the upright of heart.
As for those who turn away to crooked paths,
  the Lord shall treat them like the doers of evil.
Peace be on Israel!
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
  as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
  world without end.
Amen.

For those of you who have been following Suzanne's healing progress - she's doing quite well.  She goes to the Dr. Tues. June 7th for a follow-up appt. for her spleen and lung.  She's up and around and is able to drive and pretty much be a normal mom, with the exception of still not being able to lift more than 10 lbs.  (her 20 month old doesn't like that very much), but she's doing well.

Thank you for your continued prayers on her behalf.

On another note, please be praying for my daughter Sarah - 17 yrs. old.  She loves the Lord; however, she has rekindled a relationship with a girl at school that I am not too happy about.  I have an uneasy feeling and my heart has been anxious about the amount of time she has been spending with this girl.  I can't, for the life of me, figure out what drew Sarah back, being they have not been friends since the beginning of their freshman year.

Please pray that I have wisdom and that the Lord will give me peace in spite of my worried heart.  I want to find the right opportunity to speak with Sarah regarding this and share my concerns.  I know we are to be a light to the world, but I'm sensing an ulterior motive on the part of the other girl.

“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16

Suzanne is home!  She was released from ICU last night 5/21 and the Drs. let her go home today.  Still on strick bed rest for the next couple of weeks, and limited activity for the next 6-8 weeks, but at least she's home in her own bed and with her kids.

Darcey, My son ended up being completely OK after his passing out incident.  Who knows what happened there, but he's OK.  I love the fact that so many of the women in this group lift up others and their prayer requests.  Where would we be without the Lord?

My son is now in INDOC - getting ready for A School to start as soon as his class fills up.  This is a new world for him and me, but we'll get through.  At least we can chat now on FB or call each other.  Love It!

Please be praying for my niece, Suzanne.  Last night at our church soft ball game she came up to bat.  She hit the ball and was running for first base.  Somehow she and the first baseman "tangled" at the plate and she ended up with the guy's knee in her back.  She broke a rib, punctured her lung and her spleen was ruptured!    She is currently in ICU - a dye test is scheduled for around 12 noon (EST) to determine the extent of the damage of the spleen.  It is possible that surgery may be needed, but we won't know anything till after the dye test is performed.

Suzanne is the mommy of 3 young children - 5 1/2 yrs., 3 1/2 yrs. and 18 months.  It's going to be hard for the kids to adapt to mommy being out of commission for a while, but I'm sure with family and friends we'll get them through.

Please pray for a quick recovery and complete healing.  Thank you!  I'll keep you all updated as we get more info.  Blessings!
