Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Annette, Prayers for your WHOLE family! 

I want to add that I just read an update from my sailors PIR group & found that a sailor that PIRed with him has been hospitalized with Acute Tcell Luekemia/Lymphoma.  Oh, the cancers..........I wish they would just go away!

Prayers needed for all those being affected by the Tsunami and earthquake.  Protection/Safety for all.

Prayers are needed as well for a family with a daughter in div 116. Her father just passed away unexpectedly. The mom posts under Conster1114

i would like to say a preyer  for those two sailors who pass away on Monday Morning at camp pendeltion my son was behind the truck that turn over and seen everything he's ok  but he fells so bad for his shipmates family and he knew them he told me he feels lost with out them now   i told him it would be ok God is takeing care of them now so it will be all right

I agree with HonorHim.  Speaking what you desire can make things so.  It does not work for everyone and sometimes just not in our time frame. But it does help you to be more positive about the situation. I have heard many times that people who speak out loud their need from our Lord, do receive their wish.

We will be positive in our prayers of Health and Healing for your son and for your family!!!
