Re:Prayer Request for Sailor stuck at LA Airport.  He made it home safe and sound. There was conflicting info on the United website for departures and arrivals for his flight.  He was actually on a plane the entire time I was on NavyForMoms!!!

Thank you Jesus!

I hope each of you have a very Blessed and Merry Christmas and a Prosperous and Safe 2011.

Thank you for all your prayers during my sailors 6 month deployment.

The USS Olympia and her crew were back at home port on Friday, Dec. 17.  Everyone safe and sound.  ]

Can't wait for my sailor to arrive back here in OK so I can see him.  Will be spending our first Christmas together in 5 years.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our Moms of Faith.

Thanks Navy moms.....this is a beautiful day!  Its his first Sunday at Boot and I hope he was allowed to go to church this morning.  Every letter I am including a verse for him.

Mamawalrus, you Both Can do this.  God will help you both thru it all.  Remember to Write, Write, & Write.....your letters will help him make it through.  Know that we are here to listen as you need; be it cry, laugh, or cheer!  We will hold your hand.  This will make you both stronger.

My son is there.. got the call at 10:15. Lots of prayers for a peaceful beginning, a joyous middle and an amen ending to BC!
Lord give him the strength to endure everything that is put in front of him and that you will watch over him as he begins his journey. Give him light in the darkness and your hand in the sunshine. Guide him when he is unsure and comfort him when he is in need. I thank you for all you are and for blessing me with such a wonderful son... in Jesus name AMEN

Hi jonsmom! I believe that and I know we never give up. we never stop praying for our children and we know GOD has a plan and we trust with all out heart that they come back to GOD sooner rather then later.

I followed mamawalrus in here! Big believer in the power of prayer, and right now praying for both me and my son, unfortunately he is going through a time in his life where he says he does not know what he believes, he has been raised in church and I must believe what the bible tells me "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it"

Thanks mistydawn! I remember being months away and here we are....2 days left! He is just surprising me more and more every day, He is a child of GODS and displays by his maturity every day. I hope he befriends another Christian sailor as he goes through BC.
