Thank you for your prayers. I had actually prayed for this relationship to not be successful and then felt really bad for Kerry when it didn't. I guess sometimes mother's intuition is right. I know The Lord will take care of us in all situations. It is great to have prayer partners and friends on N4M.

Lord, I thank you that you know and care about Kerry's life so intimately. I ask you to guard and protect his heart as he heads out on his first deployment -- especially having made the choice with his girlfriend. Thank you for the HOPE and PEACE you can provide to him, no matter what the circumstances. I pray that this will be a time of growth in you perhaps deeper than ever before. Please draw him close as he is most likely experiencing many conflicting emotions. I pray the same for Rhonda as his loving mom too. Please bless them all with a renewed awareness of your presence. Also, ask for you to draw the girlfriend close to your heart for healing as well. Amen.

Please pray for my Sailor. He is preparing for his first deployment and recently broke up with his girlfriend after finding out she dislikes the Navy tremendously and also has a problem with alcohol. He is planning a long career in the Navy, but is very upset as he was thinking of marriage. Long distance relationships are very difficult. Thank you. (His name is Kerry.)

Hi Connie, I will pray for your son Steven. Please keep in touch and let us know how he is doing. My son also wants to be a riverine after his two years in Japan. He has almost completed his first year there. I am hoping and praying he will change his mind but it is doubtful.

Please pray for the family of MM Fireman William Mack, 21. He was found dead in his rack on the USS Nebraska on Monday. The cause of death has not been determined, but there was no evidence of an accident present. The Navy will not tell his mother where they were when this happened. As a submariner's mother I understand this policy, but am sure it must be devastating for his family to not have that information in this case.

Lord have Mercy on this young Sailor's family and friends and bring them Peace and Comfort through their memories of their loved one.

I will pray for your son also and keep you in my prayers too. N4M is a great place to be to receive the support you will need during his deployment. Please tell him Thanks for his service, for me.

Lord, please send a legion of Your angels to surround and protect Steven with their wings while in Iraq and bring him safely home. (also all of the other soldiers there.)

I will pray for your son Connie. Can you explain what is a riverine & what is your sons name so I may picture your son as I pray. Thanks Judy
