If anyone would like to extend condolences to the family of Robert Mudd, POFC (of the Olympia Sub) the link below should take you to the Guest Book at Legacy.com. I am sure his family and friends would appreciate a short note from any of us whether you knew him or not. I left a message earlier today, but was only the 2nd person to do so.

His identity has been released now. EM1 Robert Mudd, 29 of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. The memorial service for the Olympia crew will be Thursday. He drowned near the Marine Base on the east side of the island in bad seas while trying to move his sail boat to the western side.

Prayers please for the family of a Sailor my son knows. Died today in an accident not work related. Won't use name because I don't know if any family is on this site. Just pray for the family of Olympia Sailor.

BHappy..........Thank You!!! I must have over looked your 2nd comment. That is a very nice thing to say.

Seeing your son at PIR will make you cry for sure! Besides looking so handsome in their uniform, you will see a remarkable difference in attitude also. Very much appreciative of their moms very respectful of others. God Bless!
