Thanks again for the prayers for my trip. We made it back home safe and sound although very tired. The all night flight was not a good place to try to sleep! We are all back to our normal everyday life now. God Bless all of you in 2010.

Thank you for your prayers for my anxiety to go away. I am in Pearl Harbor now at the Navy Lodge....a very nice place to stay! My worries were gone by the day we left home. I knew the extra prayers would help. We are haviing a blast so far. Please continue to pray for us to make it safely back home on the 7th/8th. Bless you all for being here for us.

He is an Awesome God!!!

Happy day after Christmas! I hope all of you had a Blessed Christmas day, even if it was without your Sailor home.

I am asking for prayers. My family is scheduled to go see our Sailor on New Year's Day. I am anxious about the flight (8 hours) and a little nervous in light of the recent bombing "scares". I know that the Lord is in charge and I must give him my fears and He WILL take care of my family. My anxieties are bearing down on me and I would appreciate prayers for Protection and Travel Mercies that we arrive safely, enjoy our visit and arrive safely back home.

Thank you all for praying for our Sailors also.

I stopped in to ask a favor, but first--I see many of you are BC moms. My son is an instructor in the simulation range. Hopefully, he rode your sailors' behinds so they can be the best! Someday their lives and others might depend on it. Here's my favor--last April I was privileged to be the companion (called a guardian) on an Honor Flight from Moline, IL. My veteran was a 90+ something doctor who served in the Pacific during WWII. What a guy! He and his wife had nine children, but he missed his wife terribly. If you request his address, I'll send it to you as his birthday is at the end of the month. It would be great if you'd send him a card!

Amy J - you were correct in telling him to stick it out. It is the hardest thing to do when you know you can't help them, but it is in their best interest.

I will keep you both in my prayers. Keep in touch.

Just heard from my sailor; he is back on dry land. He found out yesterday that he passed his E5 exam. He is now a 2nd class Petty Officer! We are very excited for him. Now he can move off base, IF he can find a place he can afford!

Thank you Lord for answered prayers.

Denise - check out the group "Care Package Ideas". I just happened on to it by chance and it has a discussion about calling cards for troops overseas. I did not think to check the date the discussion began; I hope it is not too old!

Denise, I don't know of a Navy specific group, but try Blue Star Mothers.

So glad you finally heard from him. I am sure that made your holidays complete.

Continued prayers of safety and protection for our military men and women around the world; especially "our" sailors.
