his is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Good morning everyone.

I pray everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving.

Please pray for my son, Aaron, today at 10am CST as the Naval oral surgeons are removing all 4 of his wisdom teeth under general anesthesia at Naval Hospital Pensacola.

I know it's not that big of a deal, but being a nurse myself, general anesthesia can sometimes be an issue.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers.

Love and hugs,

Elaine (aka chergui)

I was told they can get one from the Chaplain if they ask for one.

cherqui53, thank you so much for the prayers!

Mom&Dad4MattJ, if he's in boot camp, you can't send him a package or anything bigger than a letter or card.  Can you copy pages or print pages from the Bible off the internet?  You could send a few pages at a time.  I'm actually surprised he asked because he should know that getting a package would only cause him trouble.  On the other hand, how sweet of him to want his Bible!

Hi Ladies,  our Recruit is requesting that we send him his Bible, but we heard he can not receive mail larger than an envelope is this correct?    Thanks for your help

Hello Ruth.

This is important and please don't think that it isn't.  We all care about the needs of our sailors.  Your son's need is not trivial.

Let us pray that the Lord bless your son with His favor and man's favor to find your son worthy of a good score.  We continue to ask God to bless your son as He blessed Daniel with the ability and proficiency in all areas that he studies (Daniel 1).  Lord, bless this sailor as you blessed Moses and Aaron with divine skill in every craft they undertake.  And bless him as you blessed Solomon with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as vast as the sands on the seashore...too numerous to count.  Lord, thank you for Your hands who guide and care for this sailor.  We thank you for a passing grade on this test and all of his tests.  Amen and Amen.

Ruth, please keep us all posted.  Hugs :)

In the scheme of things, so many life and death situations out there, this isn't important to many, but if you can squeeze in a prayer for my sailor's test score, it would be appreciated.  He just took the test this week since he was deployed in September.  He's never been a great test taker, so while he's a superb sailor, he needs the good score for advancement.  Thanks!  I would have asked for prayers before he took the test, but he didn't let me know he was taking it!

It is great to know there are other Mom's and Dad's (too) out there lifting our kids up to God, asking for his guidance, protection and love to surround them as they embark on their journeys in our military.  Ephesians 6:18.  Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of The Spirit, Stay alert and keep praying for God's people.
