I don't know if this information will help or not but when my daughter was aboard her ship there was a priest ..Perhaps you could contact the Ombussman for your son's  ship and they would know if there was a priest onboard ornot. Just a thought that came to mind.

Hello,

I am looking to see if there is a Roman Catholic group.  Have I found it?

Also, does anyone know if there is a list of which ships have a Priest on board?

My son is on deployment and I was wondering if he will be able to receive the Eucharist.

God bless everyone, (Catholic or not)

Rhonda8881, Thank you for the insight;  it makes sense.  Hope that the 'no news is good news' idea is at play, and things are going well for the most part!

Take care, and enjoy your day -- SR's Mom

SR's mom...I don't know if it is active or not.  Doesn't seem like anyone has been posting very often.

Some of my other groups are the same way. Seems like it goes through cycles and we are in a down cycle right now.

If you have a prayer request, please post it just in case someone checks in.  Could be that people are stopping by but not posting anything.  And you can never have too many prayers being said for you (or whoever is in need).

Hi, I was pleased to find this group, thank you Julie for starting it!!  Are there any other members who have a son/daughter in at GL right now?  My son has been gone a week, I miss him so very much, but; I know God and his angels are with him every step of the way.
