True To Our Vows does not mean a Vow Of Silence. You gals are so quiet ?? What's up with that. Come in and let us know how you are doing. It doesn't have to be something exciting. Life is just another dull day sometimes and that's OK.

A friend of mine, Mary may be joining in a bit. She lives in WA state. Where has every been lately? Too busy with living I guess. :)
Steph, sounds like you are adjusting well in SD.

All you youngster don't need this but
Computer tip for those with poor eyesight.
Did you all know that you can "increase" or "decrease" the size of everything on your screen, by holding down the "Ctrl" key with one finger and turning the little dial on top of your mouse? Try it. I just found out about this little trick and thought I had invented sliced bread.

Hi Angel B...you will do great. My husband deploys in elevan days!! Thus will be his first deployment.
I'm excited for him. He can't wait to see new things. I know it will be hard but he is happy to be doing it to take care of my daughter and I, and to stand up for our country! :)) I'm also nervous, but I've got a lot of support! You will do fine, justvremember that every day apart...means another day closer for him to arrive home in your arms. Write to him every chance you get. Itvwill make you feel better and it will make time go by easier and faster for him to know you're safe and proud of him. If you need to talk, we are all here for eachother.

Hi Angle B! Welcome! YES, You CAN :) It wont be easy at first but it WILL get easier with time. Plus, you know that he is away to further his career and it's for the best for all of you. My husband's been gone for approximately a month and I still get VERY excited every time I hear his voice, get a letter, or receive an email from him. I write him often and send him kind encouraging words to help him stay strong and focused. OCS will not be anything like he expects...it's always harder than imagined but he has made it this far and just remind him that this is just another hurdle and you and your children will be waiting for him .

So how is everyone doing?! I haven't heard from anyone. Well, I go to talk to someone on base about possible jobs and classes to take. My husbands master cheif commanding officer wants me to be part of the fleet and family services working with families of the deployed. He told my husband that he thinks that I should be in the navy..as prepared as I was. :) He looks forward to meeting me soon. I should be getting an email from him soon about his recommendations.
Anyway, I love cali so far, except for the water. It tastes ucky so I'm livng off bottled water til I can get a purifier.
Well, someone, message me whenever. Any suggestions on classes to take with th family?? Also, I met some of my neighbors. most of them ar pretty nice. The navy roommates across from me...they aren't on good terms with me at this moment. All I'm saying is...don't be louder than my tv and one married female + 3 navy guys = !doesn't look right!
