OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Susie,
I bet you were on cloud nine! How long has your son been in the Navy?
Our son is in Basic Training in Great Lakes now and his PRI date is June 30th. Our son will be staying in Great Lakes after this. How long ago did your son do that ?

Update! B and I finally found a town home that we love! Our move in date is later than we had planned, but then again circumstances changed so it all worked out. Come Aug 1st I'll be living in AZ full time! Can't wait! I hope my Merrells can handle all my planned hiking!

Thanks Sue and Karen for the house hunting help!
