Welcome Georgette!
Glad you joined us and about when will you be moving here??? I live on the far eastside of Tucson and I love it out here. As you get more info about what areas you're looking at feel free to stop in here, we'd be happy to give you our opinion. :)

Janet: I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I know how concerned you've been over his medical treatment in boot camp. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Keep me posted. Hugs to you.

Hi Ladies!

I wanted to pass along our DEP Zone Meeting news! Camilla has found a community project for the DEPPERS. They have "adopted" a city park! It's Himmel Park, 1000 N Tucson Blvd. (One block south of Speedway) This coming Saturday, June 6th at 9:00am, the DEPPERS will start their community project and I think it would be great if us Moms could meet at the same time and show our support! Let me know if you're interested in attending. :)

Leslie, it was great meeting you and Becky! We didn't wrap things up till almost 12:30.....I guess some of the guest speakers were a little long winded. Oh, well, it wasn't too hot and it's always nice to make those Navy Mom connections. You and Becky are always welcome. Next month the DEPPERS will be doing a community service project, and the first Saturday in July is the 4th of July, so I need to find out what Saturday it's changing to. :)

Hi Joan:
I'm back from Norfolk. Matt was here on leave until April 14th. We all had a wonderful visit with him. He hasn't changed at all, still my sweet little baby boy (okay, he's a man now, but will always be the baby of the family).
I flew to Seattle April 18th for the homecoming in Everett, WA of the USS Rodney M Davis. Met lots more Navy Moms!! And had a blast. Returned this last Thursday. I'm planning my next trip....lol, lol. I hope you all have your PIR pictures to share the next time we get together...
Joyce and I spoke yesterday and it's time for another "coffee" hour.

Hi Lisa,
Wow, graduation is right around the corner. Are you getting excited? I don't think there are any get togethers planned. When are you available? My schedule is wide open. :)

Aaron's Mom: Welcome to our Tucson Group! We also have an Arizona Group, we'd love to have to join us there. And the group you may find the most helpful to you now is the Boot Camp Moms. Look for the group that has close to 2k members. We have a few recruits in boot camp from Tucson, I hope you connect with Moms with recruits in Div 207. :)
