YAY!!!!  heard from hunter!  gets 1st leave (as far as i can tell)  HAPPY!!!  thanks all for your concerns.  i love my Navy mom family!!!  so, my countdown might be 17 days???  hunter didn't say dates, just that he would have to leave the day after CHRISTmas to get back.  :(  it's ok, because we'll have him here for some!!!

sharon, hope your mom gets along with the assistants.  be safe, again.

mary, hope you get that flight taken care of.

hunter hasn't said anything about a party when they get back.

For the couple hundred dollar difference in switching Jesse's flights from November to December, they want me to fax his military orders, hopefully that will finish the claim. If so, not too painful !!   Have any of you heard if your sailor will be going to the Christmas party when they get back? Not sure if Jesse will go, he said he is just glad to hear they should have a day off after the party. Except he said he wished he would have known and he would have flown home a day earlier, oh well !!  He has a lot of stuff to do when they get back before coming home anyhow. Glad for those with sailors coming home for leave, and hang in there those who are not, or are not sure! (Hugs and prayers and fingers crossed Kyann!) so glad for navy email! Looking forward to skyping hopefully soon too!

YES, I have heard from Anthony and he is still on schedule to come home Dec 14!

We are all so excited! Planning a huge Welcome Home/21st B-Day party for him.

Sure hope his leave doesn't get canceled at the last minute.....or I'll be stuck w a 100 people at my house and won't be feeling very festive - LOL

I'm also trying to figure out what to get him for Christmas.....he wants a new unicycle but I'm sure that won't be cheap to take back to Japan. Any suggestions?

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I don't think that Josh put in for December leave.  His original plan was to come home in July.  He talked about wanting to snowboard in Japan.  But when Thanksgiving leave opened up he grabbed that...but unfortunately we all know how that turned out :-(   Holidays are tough without them :-(

Sharon, giggling about your music video!!
