My son just got his orders. He'll be on the Bulkeley when finished with C school in June.
Hi Liberty. Check out the Facebook page of the bulkeley ddg 84. They post pictures of the crew. I don't believe in coincidences, only GODincidences. So, my husband was praying to God asking Him to protect our son especially because it was his first birthday away from the family. (He just turned 19.. a baby.) He asked God for a sign that our son was under his covering. Then while searching online... Low n behold a picture of our son appears on the uss bulkeley page. He's in the engine room writing in a paper. We cried! Our faith has grown so much with my son's enlistment n now this, his first deployment. Praying for all sailors on board.
Hi 1underGod . Thank you for responding. I have not been on this site much since he finished with Boot Camp but now I am hoping to find other moms who have a child with mine. I appreciate you answering! This is his first deployment so I am a little nervous, of course. We were not there to see him leave either. We had a wonderful time with him during his leave though. I wonder if anyone has photos of them leaving?
Hi- I was wondering if anyone else is online who has a child on the Bulkeley?
Hello all, my son is joining DDG84 in October...looking forward to hearing about it all!
Thanks for the welcome Calirose. I'm not exactly sure what his job will be. He is on the apprenticeship pact.
Hi all. I'm new to the group. My son just graduated from bootcamp and reports to Bulkeley at the beginning of January.
