FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Well it sounds like our PRECIOUS SAILORS have some WELL DESERVED time off the ship... Thank GOD for solid ground below their feet... : ) I hope they are all enjoying their time...

Laura Lee - I have not heard anything from my Sailor either.. I cant stop watching the news as well.. I just pray that this operation gets handled SWIFTLY... God Speed to all the forces out their fighting this EVIL... I did receive my 1st actual phone call from my Sailor on Monday.. It was so glourious to hear his voice.. I didnt even know it was him at first... I said who is this and he said your SON.. And then I chatted on line with him briefly on Wed to talk our our NCAA brackets and that was the last I talked with him.. : (  I will keep you posted if I hear anything..

Debra: YEAH for a phone call... What great pictures of your son... : ) It looks like it is always sunny and beautiful where they are.. I never see a cloudy day... LOL.. I am sure they have them but the sun always helps with keeping their dobbers up VS gloomy cloudy days all the time.. Thank you for sharing the pictures.. I cant wait to get to see them when they roll back into town... : )

I get an email from my son almost daily.  He is such a good son, I get so excited when I see emails from him!  His picture was in the newsletter twice on the day titled "Wolfpack performing maintenance".  He is the second to last pic and last pic!

It is so hard when communications are shut down and sit and wonder and worry what is happening watching every news channel to find out what might be happening.. This can be so nerve racking.. Heres hoping that this is an email phonce call kinda day for all the Bulkeley families... : )
