I chatted online with my Sailor tonight... : ) Oh the joy in my heart is enourmous..He sounded really well. I have to wonder what it must be like to be out to sea for 6 months and waiting - watching hoping for a letter or box in the mail on mail day.. I am so proud of our Sailors and the way they keep such a positive attitude and chin up approach to their duties... I can not wait to hear all his stories and just be near him again.. : ) I hope some of you were able to chat with our loved ones as well. He also said I heard you are talking to ward on Nvy for moms... LOL.. I said I may be but we all have screen names.... : )

Kathie - That was a great idea in the yo-yo : ) So happy for your email from your son.. I heard from Dustin as well. He said all is well and he received my package too. And was thrilled.. I think boxes from home when they are out to sea mean more than even boot-camp letters.. Bless our Sailors...

Hi, guys!  Please remember to use OPSEC.  I know it is very hard when you want to reach out to someone else for comfort and can't discuss this sort of stuff in a forum.  We just have to remember that this isn't a secure site and discussing stuff like this puts our Sailors at risk.  I also wanted to mention that our Ombudsman and I haven't recieved any defite word on whether our ship being diverted to other areas.  While we are apart of the Battle Group, we do not always follow the Enterprises movements.  That isn't to say they aren't with the Enterprise but speculating only has us worry and we don't want that.  Know we're all concerned for our Sailors but the Chain of Command assures us that our Sailors are all doing well and are excited to do what they are trained to do.  If you need any assistance or have questions when you hear news headlines, please feel free to drop us a line..either the FRG or the Ombudsman and we'll be glad to put your mind at ease or give you any latest news from our Command.

Take care, Mommas!  We know you love your Sailors as we do ours.  Just remember to keep them safe! :)

Debra and Sonia: I kept checking my email a 1,000 times today at work.. And then when I looked again just before I left for the day and I saw his name in my inbox, my hand leapt to my heart and the tears came and then the over joy... : ) Then when we received the new update from the Bulkeley Blog I saw a picture of him. He was in the next to last picture sitting on the far left. You can just see a little bit of his profile.. It was a good day for this MAMA... Just maybe I will be able to sleep tonght.. I am so glad you got hear from your son Debra.. Few words are lilke a lilttle touch of heaven.. : )

Mom

How are you doing? We finally got our internet back up and running! So
that is a good thing finally have communication with the outside world
once again. Lol. The past week or so has been pretty crazy for us around
here with everything that has been going on. Of course I cant tell you
all about it yet that will have to wait but talk about adrenaline rush.
It was so sad to hear about the 4 Americans though my heart went out to
them and their families I could not even imagine what would have been
going through there minds.

I know you and dad worry about me especially when we were in the
thick of everything that was going on. I cant wait to sit down and talk
to you all about it. it is really late here right now and I have not gotten hardly any sleep the past couple of days. I will email more tomorrow.

I love you mom there is not a day that goes by that im not thinking
about you, I hope you are doing great and we will be reunited sooner
rather then later. I love you and hope you have a great rest of the day!
