Just an FYI, As much as I love helping everyone get connected with the ombudsman there was a post on the wall today. It said; "Good morning! If somebody approaches you either in person or online and tells you that they want your help getting onto the HUE page, please tell them to have the service member that they are affiliated with send an email to the Ombudsman to confirm that person's identity. All of the crew members have access to the Omb. email address.

Do not forward any profiles to the HUE Facebook page asking to add them."

Not my words... So let your sailors know!

The letters from the capt. make me feel better. I know what is happening and where they are. When our son was assigned to a ship in Japan we never knew where they were until they returned.  Weeks would pass and we had no clue as to their location. Our son feels they are well trained and ready for anything. It helps me to remember they are supporting the Eisenhower, and  that all the ships are supporting each other, they are not alone.  I so hope the capt. continues to keep us in the loop as much as possible. I pray for all the military and families to be safely reunited...

Is anyone else getting freaked out by the letters from the captain on the HCO's facebook page? It's really starting to scare me.

Hi, I am a navy mom from Puerto Rico. I need to know if someone can help me to connect to HCO so to see the pictures. I heard that they post two pictures almost everyday. Thank You.

I am willing to help people get in touch with the Ombudsman since Donna was so kind to help me out. Just let me know if you need assistance.

More on the Facebook site.

The Ombudsman checks the roster before "friending".  So you would need to clarify which sailor you are there to support.

Also, I will be out of pocket (internet) for a few weeks.  Perhaps someone else might communicate with her on behalf of people who want to join?

Thanks!

Hey Donna, could you ask her to add Chelsea Simon from Barrington, Illinois on the group?

Got a call from my son yesterday! He really enjoyed France, says the Alps are incredible! Sounded healthy and happy...so I am feeling good today!
