OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

Hi Sailorsproudwife!  Thank you for your fast response!   My son had a question regarding if being on the ship if he was able to still continue his online schooling?  He is the middle of working on his Associates so he is a bit worried!

My son recently got stationed in San Diego on the USS Comstock. So far he says he is just learning a lot.  Hopefully we can visit him soon.

Hi Texas etc (sorry I lob off words all of the time ahha)

We are mailing wave 2 to the Comstock right now.  If you get some made, let me know.  The ship is filled, but I am set to mail 12 to them by Tuesday or Wed.  If you finish up your batch, I will have you mail them in place of me.  I see you friended me.  I'll send you my personal email address as we have a point of contact that all the pillowcases go thru.  I email the address.

Thanks so much!
