While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by Michelle on March 20, 2011 at 11:59pm: I made the pies in jars. 2 blueberry, 2 cherry and 2 apple so I am real anxious to find out hoe they turned out. They looked good, but you never know. I t was a real blast making them and packing these last boxes. My daughter and mom even helped, because of the amount of baking and dehydrating we did. The dehydrating was for the beef jerky that we made.

Comment by dogwalker on March 20, 2011 at 5:28pm: I didn't mean to sound rude or confuse you but an ENFN is when you don't actually have a designated rate. Generally, FN's are HT's or something of the sort. I was just unclear on what exactly cranking was. Thank you though.
