it took me awhile to figure it out cannot remember what i did though!  just trial and error when you get the page that comes up and in top box you type the ""USS Comstock (LSD 45)"" then there is several more boxes to fill bu on the bosx where u put USS Comstock there is something written cannot remember what it says but you click on that and it comes up with a list of alerts if there are any dont know if that helps or just confuses you more lol.

@kab I am having the same problem, mine allowed me to verify, but the only alert I got had nothing to do with the Comstock, even though that is what I entered. In the e-mail I got from google alerts it gave me the option of verifying and canceling, so you might want to look there.

does anyone know how to deactivate the google alerts that I have not been able to verify? -- tried to enter another one and it said there was already one --but never receive anything (can't verify)   Thanks

Hopefully my son will get his packages. soon since they will be in port. My prayers are with all of the Japanese people and our military personnel going to help!

I searched for the USS Comstock and found that they are in the 7th Fleet area of the Pacific (think that is ok to list if not someone smack me). It did list a specific port, but I do not want to put it here. Navy.mil has a news report also about the group.

I see that we are up to 15 members who are the last two anyone met them yet?

Comment by cheffiona on March 11, 2011 at 2:32pm
