@cheffiona hope you get better soon. Congrads on the weight loss. But do take care of that blood pressure. Hope your daughter starts to feel better soon and everything start to go well for her. Maybe it is just getting use to being on the ship and not seeing land for long periods of time.

@BM3 thanks for the picture. It really doesn't matter that it was big, it was nice.

Dennydazzle-the USO at the san diego airport is a great resource! Let her know to find them if she runs into issues.

Michelle-that just gave me goosebumps!

Just got a message on my fb from the USS Green Bay it is a picture of the sailors/marines on the ship with a sign that reads "You are not alone, we are still with you in spirit". its awesome.

@dennydazzle Welcome to the group. airport not far from base,  depending on route and traffic.  They do have taxi's, buses, etc. but hopefully someone will be sent for her.

@all   apologize for the misleading info on the boxes.  I was under the impression that we could send 2 different sizes at the discounted rate to FPO/APO but after a discussion at my usual post office today, I was mistaken there is only the 1,  the large priority flat rate box. it goes for $12.95 no matter how much weight you can stuff in it to an APO/FPO address. I have managed to get about 20lbs of stuff in them in the past so guess it's a better deal than by the ounce.   The medium non military rate one is $10.95.

2nd box went out today so lets see how long it takes.

@dennydazzle driving about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic

@BM3Simswife - nice picture -

@Chiffiona - great job on the weight loss - BP will also decline with the meds and the weight loss. It may also have been elevated because of your pain in thigh and being at the MD (white coat syndrome)

@Cheffiona good work on the weight loss!! Sorry to hear about Bridgette its gotta suck being sick on a ship.
