Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by cheffiona on March 10, 2011 at 3:23pm: Im back from docs he did not want to know about my leg when he my bp 188 over 128 he got right in my face literally nose to nose and said that I was a walking "stroke" so how 2 pills for bp 2 pills for diabetes and what i went there for my thigh 2 pills lol! And got weighed in and now at 80 lbs lost yeah so im gald that i went now and must get back to taking pills as I want to be here when they come back from deployment!! hope your all having a good day!

B. is having a reaction to her smallpox shot nearly passing out in the hallway! Poor thing she is really having a lot of health issues since she has been in the navy.

Comment by Michelle on March 10, 2011 at 1:01am: I would like to ask you all for prayers for the families of the 2 Seabees that were killed on Camp Pendleton and the 1 that was injured when their 7-ton vehicle overturned. My son is a Seabee so it hit a little to close to home for me.

They still have a ways to go yet but hopefully time will fly! And they will be back with us again!
