Hi Alyse, That's awesome that you were able to find two of his favorite things in one. I was able to speak with my hunny and he said he had played a fun game of wii fit boxing. I guess it was like a tournament or something. btw, what a cute baby.

Yes, I heard from my husband yesterday. I was so happy because I could actually hear him for once, which was so nice. He has his days like any other, but he sounded happy. He seemed to enjoy his time off the boat as well as refreshments on the pier. Though refreshments rhymes with pier, wink wink...

oops, never mind Shirley, I just tried to upload a photo for my profile and it states no last names, so I am guessing it would not be a good idea to post them either. Maybe you could PM me that instead. sorry for the oops. I'm still learning

Absolutely! Is he on the ship yet? What is his last name? So I guess he was in San Diego for a while huh? I'm here now. My daughter and I love San Diego so much, we decided to come back home while they were gone.

Hello, I am not a mom of a US Sailor, but I was hungry for anything I could find on the ship. I did a google search and this popped up. My name is Marisol and my husband is a Sonar Tech. STG-3. I did finally ear from the ombudsman if anyone wants to message me.

Anyhow, thanks for having this wonderful resource available for the Mom's. I'll be sure to let my MIL know. She's pretty awesome, I got lucky when God handed out MIL's

I have just contacted the ombudsman asking that very question. Hope to get a reply back soon. We were talking about booking a flight but I hate to do that if things can change!
