Lee's mom is in Fountain Hills and my other two [lol!!!] are in Phoenix. :]

And I agree. Lets all pray about that one. It feels like it's been MONTHS since he left. Killing me. Sooooo done with this deployment already. Lol. Well... at least life isn't so bad anymore, right?? Or maybe I'm just getting used to all the crap. LOL!!!

Lol, Julie, I feel the same way except when I vaccum... I can't hear the music!!! Lol. Same thing right? ;]

Pam, both our moms are from Az. Although originally we're all from back east. Most of his family is in Arizona now and my mother is out there as well. Otherwise they're all in Florida and Missouri. :] But we met and our place of residence is in Az.

I wish I could just not invite people over, but the fact that I have a 2nd bedroom and live in Cali is an instant invite. Lol, I guess I don't mind so much once it's all done and they're out here. Haha :] I just gotta get a straw and suck it up.

LOL!! And the times I don't clean when Lee is here... he gets kind of upset and does it himself. But the days I work, I'm not cleaning. I don't care. I get about two hours to myself once I take care of the dogs. That's 3 hours in a night of "free time." NO. THANKS. :]
And the only thing that gets messy on the days I work is the kitchen. It's usually a fairly quick fix on a day off. I get a wild hair sometimes and start cleaning everything else though. lol

By the way... if the boys get back in November we're about 150 days away.. that's it! The FRG is throwing a "Half-way" party in August. That's almost NEXT MONTH!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! Sorry... sudden realizations make me happy sometimes.

You know... honestly, what can he complain about?? Just told him it was for your own sanity and to deal with it, lol!

She's not far from my mom. :] She took me in when my mother and I "disagreed." Lol, She's actually my exes mother, but that kid of hers... UHG!! He's supposed to be a Marine and he's nothing but a big wuss. I couldn't date someone that cried more than I did. Lol!!! Lee was so uncomfortable with my relationship with the Partridges... until he met their son I dated. Then he understood. I could beat this kid up. hahaha!!
And with the cleaning-- the once beige carpets I had are now black with dog hair! The dishes are piled up in my sink right now from last night. I had to bake cookies and dinner and what not, and with my weird schedule, they don't get done till my next day off. Ah!! Lol.
But I LOVE you're approach. Genius! Hehe. My mother is coming out sometime in July and I have a feeling she'll say something about the lack of cleaning. Whatever. Lol. It should be fun to have her out though... I hope. We're good about fighting with eachother. Her and I didn't get along till right before Lee and I got married. Then all of a sudden it was like something snapped and changed for the better. I love it!

It's gotta be hard when we leave home. :] I can't imagine wanting to move out here though! Ah!!! I would never want to live here permanently. Eep! I'd rather live back in Az.. in the hot desert.... I think. . . Not like I have much choice in the end, but I like to think I do. Haha

LOL! Well what if I clean it? Then he can't say anything. hahaha. I can't believe his boots are STILL sitting there!!! Either way, my spare room is always open to you if I don't have anyone staying with me.

Speaking of cleaning, I have to do that this week. UHG!! But it's all worth it. :] The woman who's like another mother to me is coming out for a week! How exciting. I'll have 6 days off due to fourth of July. Just have to work one day in between and be on call on the 3rd. [so I can't go home] But I'm so excited. It'll be nice to have her out here with me. We haven't had a chance to spend some quality time together in a long time. So this will be nice. The puppies will be so happy to spend all this time at the beach. :]

Well look at you people! Show-offs! Haha, kidding! It's the same with my grandmother and mother's places. Oil paintings everywhere. It's kinda cool. :]
That's awesome with your daughter, and I totally understand! lol How old is she?

Oh fantastic!! Please let me know Pam so we can meet up!!! :]

Wow, that's amazing! Yeah, my family is all artistic. No singing abilities whatsoever. But hand us a paint brush or pencil, and we're good. :] My uncle and I are into music, but I think it's just us two.
As far as Lee and his family go. They're more outdoorsy kind of people, good with a gun, kinda thing. I think it's required to have your ccw with them. Lol! And Lee REALLY can't sing. Haha!!!! It's bad, but I still love to listen to him. Soothing, you know?

lol, you're too funny Pam. It must be crazy to think that it was only a year ago that he was in such poor health. I'm so happy ot hear that he's doing well. :] That's always nice!!

And I can't sing at all, so I'm impressed with you both! Lol. The only times I sing-- in the shower, in the car if the music is loud enough, when I'm trying to quiet a fussy baby at work [RARELY then!!], and... yeah. So basically when no one's around to hear me. Other than the hubby of course. lol

Oh how exciting Margie, you sing?! That's pretty cool. And it's nice that you're husband went to the street festival with you. :] Very sweet.
Can't wait to see the suggestions!!

Pam, I'm glad your hubby is doing well right now! I know it's a hard battle. My aunt's has been in remission for almost 6 years now!

Hope you ladies are doing well today. What is everyone doing this weekend?? I'm working. Sooo. . . yes. And it was a full moon so our rooms are completely packed. We can't take anymore patients over here and are sending them to the "high risk" ward... the staff there isn't happy with us, but it's they're fault. We tried to even it out yesterday because we knew this would happen. All I have to say to them is-- ha! Ha!
Speaking of which-- everyone's wife from this deployment is popping. We're making constant phone calls to the Red Cross letting new dads know. :] Kinda cool I guess. lol

Janet-- I know the Marines are off the ship at the moment, so maybe your son is with them at the moment. They'll be picking them up soon, so I'll ask my husband to look for your son. If he can find where the Corpsman hide, lol. He's not too happy with the Marines right now, becuase they're closing off the laundry room to Sailors till they get into port so the Marines coming back can do laundry. [Just about everything having to do with the Marines ticks my hubby off right now.]

Happy belated Birthday Julie!! Sorry it's so late, I haven't gotten on in a little while [been so busy at work and at home!!]. Sorry the kids didn't call, but I'm sure they have valid reasons. :] Like how the old gator just sucks indeed!

Wow Margie!! Your son sounds like he has life planned out! LOL!! Good for him though!! :] It's nice when they know what they want to do. Unlike me. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. When I JOINED the Navy to get my degree in Nursing in the first place!!!! Now I changed my mind again. Maybe I'll just do nothing. Sounds good to me. I'll send the hubs to college, pop out a few kids, get a decent amount of land and continue my way to a zoo!!! I mean, I've already started. Fish, Dogs, and if we didn't live in an apartment, I'd have a BIRD! And now I'm trying to convince Lee to let me get a snake... Just a little corn snake... He still says no, but I have faith that I can win this war!!! lol

Speaking of cleaning out old rooms... my mother just texted me saying she's cleaning out mine... feels weird. Lol!!

So when I get up my routine is as follows, day off or working-- get up, give the dogs water, take them out, feed them, take them out again. Well on my day off this week, I had gotten up several times through the night with Koa because he kept needing to go potty. So Lee woke me up with an email to my phone a little before 10. At this point I decided it was late and I should finally get up [I was STILL tired!!! aah! I've been SO fatigued lately.]. As I took the puppies out there was this box... From ProFlowers. I was so excited! Lee's never gotten me flowers and I used to pick on him about it all the time [granted... we were always broke, lol]. So when I brought it in it was a dozen lovely red roses with a sweet little note attached. Oooh, I was so happy. I love my husband. <3 :]

Okay - are the guy/gals FROM the Dubuque on here daily or is this just all us MOMS??? Just curious. As I posted before in the Wolfie from the Peleliu, I'm not sure if my son DID end up on the Dubuque or if he's still on the Peleliu.....as were the plans (I heard anyway).......so anyone know if HM3 Rick Yablonski is on the Dubuque or not? Navy Corpsman......he may or may not have moved on the last stop.
