We are gonna make a picture poster of Jesse with a white card stuck to his forehead, saying "White Card for life, baby!" and underneath..."Don't be THAT guy"

Or maybe one that says "Blue Card Envy"

told him he'll probably get his blue card for his last couple weeks in the navy. He's been in almost 2 years

I think he's done with Charlie. that one sucked.

have a great day, everyone

KimT, glad to hear you and your family are safe!  Can't wait to hear all about Hans' homecoming!

Tina, thanks for the update on Jamie.  Glad to hear he is doing well.

Take care all and Happy Monday!

We will be having the Commemorative Hull Swap tee shirts for sale in June. They will come in red and navy, so you can order from the USS ESSEX F/F/A FB page. There are two events posted. The tee shirt sale (which will also be a fund raiser.) And, the Adopt A Sailor event for Christmas. Some of the tee shirt money will be used to adopt Sailors...

I was curious about the white card, charlie, etc., so this is what I found out.

White card is out until midnight in civis
Alpha is leave in uniform but have to come back
Bravo has to leave in uniform with an escort
Charlie is stuck on board and have to muster
Restriction is muster several times a day, and extra duty(the worst)

Hull Swap Tshirts for purchase...

Comment by Mary n Jesse on March 3, 2012 at 11:49am

Hi Moms, my new friend on fb (that I told you about), sent me a note that there are t-shirts available that have both ships on them (hull swap 2012). They are $13/each if you buy multiple t-shirts or $15 for one. You can "Like" the BHR family page on FB or just send an email to them if you would like to purchase. I will post the link to their page (the pic of the tshirt is in their profile pics). I can post a pic too. standby...
