Welcome. My son has been on the Essex for about a year and a half. Your daughter will love San Diego. This group is not too active, but the sailors have just recently been 'a sea'. Be sure to like the USS Facebook page, lots of great info and pictures there.Best to you and your sailor.

Hi y'all.  I'm new to this group.  My daughter just received her orders yesterday and will be stationed on the USS Essex.  She will graduate A School in the next few days as an EM (electricians mate). I am happy to find this group!
