Congrats to your sailor, Tonya!!!!
I have no idea when mine got theirs. I just know when they passed the test and that was months ago. I kept looking for it on Facebook hoping the powers that be would at least post them there....guess not :-(
I've given up hope of seeing any pictures of the pinning ceremony for the ESWS awards. Hope it's in the yearbook.
Fall has officially hit the Miami Valley Area of Ohio (sw corner). Brrrrr, cold wind, colder rain. I need to get my thick skin on to prepare for winter!!
Good Morning Navy Family,
I have been meaning to log on and post but life has been CRAZY as I'm sure it is for all of you!!
I have been following along and reading all these awesome posts and I wish to say "Congratulations!!" to all your Sailors who have been achieving their goals and many accolades as well as" Happy Birthday!!" to those Sailors who have had their days come and go as my Sailor has.
My Sailor is terrible with communication, he doesn't email at all. He calls sporadically and when he does.....it warms my heart, I hate him being away from home so far but he is doing what he loves and I support him to the moon and back. I am thankful to him and to ALL our service members who give selflessly of themselves so that we can enjoy our many freedoms. I look forward to homecoming and am counting the days! He did just call me last night after 3 very long weeks. I must say it was great to hear his voice.
I have been living vicariously through all of you and your connections with your Sailors. I am so happy for all the communications to all us families on the home front as we are all feeling the same things in terms of missing our loved ones. It is a great comfort having you all here even though I don't post often. I am here every day.
I'd like to say a hearty warm and love filled "Welcome" to all the newest members of our group!
That being said....I've got to get back to work.
HOOYAH!!
Godspeed to all our Sailors on CVN 77
(and all our Military family)
