Hi all, new to the group.  Joined when my son was in boot camp but have been lost for a while, so I "re-upped" :)  I'm looking for any advice I can get, preferrably positive.  My son wasn't able to get his email address before they shipped out, he said the process was rushed and he didn't write it down but he would email me as soon as he got it.  Unfortunately same for the physical address on the ship.  He swapped from RR, so it all had changed just after he got back from leave.  I have the address but not his box #.  I received one phone call 2 weeks ago, "Hi mom, my phone is probably going to go dead", that was it.  This was after I had stopped screaming of course, being the first I had heard from him since they left.  So....I have no email, no box # and when I call his phone, it goes straight to voicemail.  I've researched, called, emailed everyone I can think of.  They tell me I have to get it from him, which unfortunately for whatever reason on his side, I'm not able to at this point.  I know he would have gotten it to me if he could, his birthday was shortly after they shipped out so he would have wanted his goody box.  He initially told me they wouldn't be able to receive boxes, but I see this was not the case.  Any advice at all?  Does anyone know how I can get an email or box #?   Desperate momma at this point.

Hello ladies!  Finally heard from my son this weekend...should have known he'd contact me wanting to know how his brothers football game went!  We've been emailing back & forth for a couple days...things must be slow in his shop LOL  I'll take it!  He got his package too "thanks for the pumpkin stuff mom"

Welcome TJCsMom!  Glad you popped in...we're getting quite the crew of carrier swappers on here! LOL

NavymomfromCT - If you plan on staying at the Navy Lodge you want the one in Norfolk not Virginia Beach, it's my understanding Virginia Beach is about a 30 minute drive from the Naval Station.  If it was summertime I'd make the drive but lucky us we get to stand on the dock and freeze our behinds off waiting to see the ship come in LOL  I'm really gonna have to think about what clothes I'm wearing that day!

Hope you all have a great day!
