Hi all, been a long time since commenting but so enjoy reading about all of your contacts and adventures.  Last year in early August a couple of you went to Japan for the friends and family cruise.  We want to do that this year.  How does one find out how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks!!

Hello all moms! I just had to get on here and report that I had the most amazing April of my life! My husband, Air Force Son and myself all went to Japan! It was the first time we had all been together since the Sailor daughter entered the Navy 3 years ago! We all stayed on base at the Navy Lodge and spent 2 weeks running all over Japan. And I do mean running! We had a great time learning all about the train system and finding the good places to eat. After that, Sailor  girl came home with us for 2 weeks while Airman son reported back to his base. Everyone is back at their respective bases now and we are back to work, but what an amazing time we all had. I hope you all get at chance to go while your loved ones are there. It was worth every penny! And staying on base saved us loads! We are going to miss the tiger cruise since we were just there, but after seeing the GW, I'm ok with that. lol. Not sure how they all do it! Those are some cramped quarters I'll tell you! Anyway, just wanted to share. Hope everyone got to see their sailors during this break in port.

Hello Everyone!  New to the group.  My sailor has been in Yokosuka for about 3 wks now and at first it was a rough start, it looks like he's adjusted.  He has said that it has a whole new appreciation for the Japanese culture.  Was able to Facetime with him and pretty much have been texting to communicate.  Looking forward to visiting but just waiting to get word on a good time to do so.

Hope all your Sailors are doing well.

Hello everybody!  I haven't been on in a while.  Figured I get back on and see how everyone is doing.  Of course, I've been enjoying the fact that I can still talk to my sailor on facebook!  I'm going to miss the chats when they take off.  Everything sure is up in the air right now.  Like everyone else, I'm wondering if the GW will be coming back to the states.  I'm saving up my money just in case they do!  If it happens, us Navy moms should meet for lunch - it would be great!  Hope all of you are doing well - God bless.

So I wanted to get my husband a GW sweatshirt for Father's Day. He would love to show how proud he is of his sailor... I am not sure where to look , does anyone have any ideas?
